Zyklon Freddy wütet über Südostafrika
Liebe Mitglieder,
gestern und vorgestern Abend ist die Hölle über Malawi eingebrochen. Der Zyklon Freddy wütet nun auch hier und zerstört im Süden nicht nur Häuser und Grund sondern auch Ernten und Existenzen.
Wir wollen morgen mit einer akuten Nothilfe starten und den Menschen vor Ort helfen. Dafür fahren wir morgen mit etwa 500kg Essen in die betroffenen Gebiete und bieten dann dort unsere Hilfe an. Das heißt, weiteres Essen besorgen und Menschen aus den betroffenen Gebieten bergen. Wir halten Euch auf dem Laufenden, wollen gleichzeitig aber auch um Eure Hilfe bitten. Wenn gerade etwas da ist, um uns und unsere akut Hilfe zu unterstützen tut dies gerne unter dem Spendestichwort Nothilfe. Das wird dann für Benzin für Rettungsfahrten und Essen verwendet.

Yesterday and the night before, all hell broke loose over Malawi. Cyclone Freddy is now also raging here and destroys in the south not only houses and land but also crops and livelihoods.
We want to start tomorrow with an acute emergency aid and help the people on the spot. For this we will drive tomorrow with about 500kg of food to the affected areas and then offer our help there. That means to get more food and to rescue people from the affected areas. We will keep you informed, but at the same time we want to ask for your help. If there is something available to support us and our acute help, please do so under the donation keyword emergency aid. This will then be used for gasoline for rescue trips and food.
